Description:
This position involves overseeing the nursing care provided to residents in a long-term care facility.
The RN Supervisor will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions is a key part of the role.
Timely and accurate documentation is required.
The nurse will provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies and supervise CNAs on assigned units.
Every other weekend is required upon center request.
Ratios for nursing care will be approximately 1 RN to 18-20 residents in a 300-bed facility.
The population includes patients with Alzheimer's and dementia.
Candidates must be able to pass a medication administration test and undergo clinical observation.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
All shifts begin 15 minutes before and end 15 minutes after the scheduled shift time.
Attendance policies are strict regarding tardiness and absences.
The RN Supervisor must be flexible with scheduling needs, including working evenings or nights periodically.
Orientation is mandatory, and attendance at required training modules is expected prior to the start of the position.
Candidates must complete necessary background checks and references as part of the hiring process.
