Risk Manager & Physician Relations - RN

Location: Dayton, Ohio

Premier Health is seeking a seasoned Risk Manager & Physician Relations to join our team. This is a high-impact role dedicated to strengthening patient safety, protecting organizational assets, and driving system-wide improvements across Premier Health and the Premier Physician Network.

Local Candidate Requirement (Hybrid - Local Candidates Only)

Applicants must reside within reasonable daily driving (approx. one hour) of Dayton, Ohio. While a hybrid schedule is available, regular onsite presence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts across system, hospital, and ambulatory settings
  • Oversee proactive risk management initiatives
  • Evaluate claims and support litigation management
  • Serve as a consultant to executives, physicians, and staff on riskrelated matters
  • Direct and monitor incident reporting processes
  • Provide guidance and support to physicians proactively and throughout the claims process
  • Must be a Registered Nurse - Current Ohio RN license
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant healthcare management experience
  • Background in nursing, law, insurance, or claims
  • Certification in Healthcare Risk Management (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
