Med/Peds Practice
Join our growing and busy Med/Peds practice! We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality care to both pediatric and adult patients in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
Position Summary
The NP or PA will provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and preventive care for patients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive physical assessments.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic health conditions.
- Provide preventive health services, screenings, immunizations, and wellness care.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health measures.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current Michigan Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred; primary care, family medicine, pediatric, or internal medicine experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with providers and staff.
- Experience with Allscripts EMR is a plus.
