Primary Care Opportunity in Rural Minnesota - 150k Signing Bonus

If you're seeking a well-established primary care practice where you can build lasting patient relationships while stepping into an existing panel, this opportunity offers both stability and long-term growth. This position is ideal for a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician who enjoys managing complex chronic conditions while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.


Practice Overview


  • You'll step into an established practice with an immediate patient panel from a retiring physician
  • Work alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners, a Physician Assistant, and visiting specialists including Cardiology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Podiatry
  • Primarily outpatient practice with optional obstetrics and low-volume inpatient/ED responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of in-office procedures including biopsies, lesion removal, laceration repair, joint injections, wound care, and Nexplanon placement


Schedule


  • Choose a 4-day or 5-day workweek to fit your lifestyle
  • Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
  • 36 patient-facing hours plus 4 administrative hours weekly
  • Shared call rotation with neighboring providers featuring limited weekend and weeknight coverage requirements


Compensation & Benefits


  • Guaranteed base salary of 315,000-330,000 for the first two years
  • 150,000 sign-on bonus plus up to 20,000 in relocation assistance
  • RVU incentives begin immediately, with transition to a productivity model after year two
  • Six weeks of paid time off, malpractice with tail coverage, 401(k), CME allowance, health benefits, and potential student loan forgiveness eligibility

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Comfortable managing a broad spectrum of primary care patients across adult and geriatric populations
  • Interest in chronic disease management and continuity of care
