Job description

Description:
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for performing data entry work using a desktop computer and appropriate software; entering, updating, researching, verifying and/or retrieving data into/from various systems; and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Enters, updates and verifies data into various systems for use by all personnel.
2. Reviews and verifies data entered into database to ensure accuracy.
3. Tracks documents received and completion dates.
4. Provides assistance to Accounting and Human Resources department
5. Maintain invoices, warranties, and tracking for vendors, including Taylor Freezer Equipment, TWC, Frank Gay, etc.
6. Post weekly Sales per store in SAGE300

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time position working 36 hours per week.
The hours worked will be between 8:00 am - 4:00pm during the business week of Monday-Friday, based on business need.
