Job Summary:
Seeking a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to support component and system design activities for complex mechanical and electrical systems. The role involves cross-functional coordination, system integration, root cause analysis, and development of engineering documentation while supporting manufacturing and flight line operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document component and detail designs for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Create design solutions using model-based engineering tools and numerical analysis.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, safety, software, regulatory agencies, and airline customers.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using Boeing Problem Solving Methodology (BPSM).
  • Support factory and flight line teams in resolving emergent issues.
  • Develop Interface Control Documents (ICD) and Specification Control Documents (SCD).
  • Support system architecture, hardware/software integration, and interface specifications.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with system requirements.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies for business applications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years of related engineering experience
  • Experience with PDM, CATIA, and ENOVIA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in systems integration and product lifecycle support.
