NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled, motivated, and experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and fabrication of advanced instrumentation and data acquisition systems used in U.S. Army fire control applications. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on work, solving complex problems, and contributing across the full product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include working as part of a small, agile engineering team to develop mission-critical U.S. Army instrumentation systems, while contributing to the design, development, and testing of electronics hardware, including custom PCBs. You will support software and firmware development for embedded systems and collaborate on system integration, troubleshooting, and performance validation. Responsibilities also include contributing to the full product lifecycle, from initial design and fabrication through fielding and long-term sustainment.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • 5 + years of experience

Required:
  • Experience with digital and analog electronics design and fabrication
  • Ability to read schematics and trouble-shoot hardware
  • Experience integrating hardware, firmware and software in complex systems
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes
  • A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel

Desired:
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout design using Altium Designer TM
  • Experience with FPGA design using Quartus Prime software
  • Embedded software design experience with C and C++ languages
  • Experience with configuration management of engineering products (e.g., schematics)

A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required, along with organizational, managerial, written, and verbal communication skills. Applicant should be detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities. 
Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
