SG2 Recruiting seeks a Cleared Project Manager who will be responsible for the client’s support via contract for the Naval Center for Space Technology (NCST). The NCST is located at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC, and is the leading laboratory for Navy space programs. NCST’s mission is to preserve and enhance a strong space technology base and provide expert capabilities in the development and acquisition of space systems which support Naval missions.

For the last 25 years, the NCST has developed, enhanced, and maintained a collection of software used for design, development, test, launch, and mission operations of DoD space assets. This software is continually enhanced to deliver state‑of‑the‑art solutions for space applications. The core suite of software components is utilized in all aspects of the spacecraft or component life cycle.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives
  • Developing life cycle cost analyses of projects or performing cost‑benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs
  • Advising on the distribution of work among positions and the appropriate staffing levels and skills mix
  • Developing data required for use in the management and direction of programs
  • Developing management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodologies
  • Performing management surveys to determine compliance with agency regulations, procedures, sound management practices, and effective utilization of staff
  • Identifying resources required to support varied levels of program operations

What You Will Need (Requirements):

  • Active Top Secret Clearance/ SCI Eligible
  • Minimum B.Sc., Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
  • Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience on a similar Federal, DoD, or Naval Research Lab (NRL) contract
  • Ability to commute daily to the Naval Research Lab location in Washington, DC
