Job Description
Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking an electrical engineer in support of services provided to the Department of the Navy and to the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).
  • Work on a team designing/developing RF/radar systems and digital signal processing within those systems to address Navy requirements.
  • Perform modeling and simulation on radar and RF systems/subsystems.
  • Research electronic components specifications and availability.
  • Work with PCBs for new RF prototype systems.
  • Perform performance measurements on electronic systems/subsystems/components and circuits using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Develop and follow measurement/test procedures, write down comments during testing, collect data, analyze the data.
  • Participate in occasional outdoor testing of prototype hardware at local test sites and at test ranges in other parts of the country as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Occasionally lift/carry test articles or devices up to 35 lbs. Sitting at test benches or standing during laboratory testing.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
  • DoD Secret Clearance that is active or was active within 24 months prior to date of hire.
  • 8+ years experience working with RF/radar systems and/or digital signal processing in an engineering capacity.
  • Computer skills:
    • Proficient in MATLAB.
    • Experience with Python and C++ preferred.
    • Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS environments.
    • Proficiency with administrative tools such as MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Participate in occasional outdoor testing of prototype hardware at local test sites and at test ranges in other parts of the country as required.
  • Experience performing hands-on measurements and testing in an RF laboratory.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Work well within a team.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. A BS in another engineering discipline, mathematics, or physics may be considered depending on experience.
