Breast Medical Oncologist - Hartford, CTAn 867-bed tertiary care center and flagship hospital is seeking amedical oncologist with breast cancer sub-specialization to join our team of 4 breast medicaloncologists. The busy breast service sees over 600 new cases of breast cancer annually, caredfor by a multi-disciplinary team of fellowship-trained breast surgeons and medical and radiationoncologists sub-specializing in breast cancer.The clinical team is supported by:

  • Fellowship-trained pathologists and radiologists
  • Reconstructive surgeons
  • A mature genetic counseling program
  • An active nurse navigator program
  • Programs in development for survivorship, high-risk care, patient education, and breast

  • Breast Disease Management Team (DMT): A multi-disciplinary group with governance over
  • quality, research, and innovative program development in breast cancer across the system, working closely with its MSK counterpart
