Supply Chain NPI Project Manager
Job Description
This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, including lifecycle planning, execution, and monitoring to meet business needs and internal metrics. Key duties involve identifying and mitigating project risks, leading cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion and supply continuity, managing project resources and escalations, and preparing all necessary documentation and status updates for stakeholders. The position requires strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with both internal and external parties.
Responsibilities include:
• Analyze, plan and execute project lifecycle management with key stakeholders to ensure all requirements are meeting business needs and internal metrics
• Identifying gaps and risks in the overall engineering qualification and to provide mitigation plans to avoid delay in the project implementation
• Lead cross functional (internal & external) meeting to ensure project completion on time without impacting supply continuity.
• Plan, execute and monitor new projects to ensure all obligations are met. Coordinates projects, establishes and manages interdependencies.
• Support supplier performance evaluation and improvement initiatives related to project responsiveness and supportability.
• Prepare project documentation, presentations for status updates and project steering committee meetings and related project meetings.
• Manage project resources, resolve issues and escalations, and manage change management expectation during the project.
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders of assigned systems/projects.
Additional Qualified Skills:
• Competencies in planning, supplier management, customer/stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, excellent analytical skill set and a strategic thinker
• Excellent communication and people skills to drive projects and work with various levels of management internally and suppliers
• Good understanding on BOM structures and supply chain touch points
• Proficiency in Google Suites
• Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment and work independently
Target Base Salary Range: $65,900 - $85,000
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
