 This contract position offers an opportunity for medical professionals to work on-site, providing essential radiological services within our modern facilities.

As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality imaging services, interpreting radiological examinations, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our medical practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide radiological services, including imaging examination and interpretation
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in patient consultations and provide expert recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology and medical practices
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities
  • Provide support and guidance to ancillary staff as needed
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree with a specialization in Radiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state
  • Completion of a residency in radiology
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging technology and methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care
  • Willingness to work on-site as part of a dedicated medical team

Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts, 1-2 days per week

Standard 7 RVUs per hour

Duties: Support growing backlog

Case Types: Plain films, MRI, and CT

EMR: Meditech

PACS: Novarad

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel and expenses
