Job description

We're seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent night role with a hospital client in Liberal, KS where you will be responsible for accurately interpreting a physician's scanning instructions, skillfully administering contrast materials, and expertly operating CT scan equipment.
Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist. Experience in an emergency department or high-volume hospital setting preferred.
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and CT (ARRT(R)(CT)).
  • KS Licensed Radiologic Technologist (KS LRT) or ability to obtain KS license prior to start.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience with Meditech charting and NovaRad PACS preferred.
  • Ability to work designated night schedule and rotations: required weekly shift coverage includes Wednesday/Thursday overnight (2130-0730) and every other weekend rotation. Typical night schedule expectations include 1900-0700 or similar 12-hour/night format and some 5x8 nights per week depending on unit assignment. Flexibility for holiday rotation as scheduled.
  • Familiarity with hospital radiology equipment including CT scanner, portable x-ray units, C-arms, and DEXA preferred.

Benefits:
  • Relocation allowance up to $2,500 with receipts required for reimbursement.
  • Sign-on bonus structure ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 paid upon first pay period, plus $2,000 paid after completion of years 1-3 of employment.

  • Unit overview: Radiology department with 2 radiology rooms, 2 portable units, 3 C-arms, 1 DEXA, and 1 CT room. Off-site radiologist coverage. Patient volume varies and depends on Emergency Department activity.
  • Charting/PACS: Meditech and NovaRad PACS.
  • Scrub colors: Any professional scrubs permitted.
