What We Offer
Outpatient Specialty Pharmacy
PRN Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm, No Weekends
Novant Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Vision is to deliver optimal medication management across all dimensions of care, every time, and that each Pharmacy employee understands how he or she contributes to the health system's vision of achieving that commitment to patients and families. Each Pharmacy employee will be essential in ensuring that Novant Health Pharmacy exists to ensure safe, effective, and affordable medication use in our communities, one person at a time.
  • Onboarding will require in person relationship building with clinics
  • Additional onsite presence may be required to maintain relationships and build referral volume
  • Hybrid position

What You'll Do
Your Role Includes:
Providing expert medication therapy management
Collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams
Ensuring safe, effective, and personalized patient care
Leading clinical initiatives and educating patients and staff
What You Bring:
Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge and critical thinking
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for improving patient outcomes and safety
What We're Looking For
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification.
    • PharmD, preferred
  • Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required.
    • Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, preferred.
  • Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
