Nosco is looking for a Window Operator at our Bridgeview, IL facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will efficiently produce a quality folding carton that requires windowing whether printed or unprinted.
In this role, you will...
  • Sets up and operates a window machine per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
  • Actively monitors production efficiency and quality. Completes all documentation and reporting accurately.
  • Troubleshoots machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Performs testing as required and understands what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
  • Assists in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing and effectively communicating with customer fulfillment technicians).
  • Performs clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
  • Ability to perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meets expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.

Success factors...
  • Preferably +2 years of carton folder/gluer experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
  • Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
  • Flexibility to work any shift and Overtime. Work in a fast pace environment with ability to deal with change.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read a ruler to 1/64"
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.

The typical pay range for this role is $22.00 - $24.00.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base offer will depend on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
