Job description

Northstar Innovations is looking for an eBanking Specialist. Northstar Innovations provides support for Northstar Financial Group Inc and its subsidiaries including West Michigan Community Bank, Northstar Bank and Mainstreet Community Bank.
Performance/Job Requirements: To succeed in this position, the candidate should be able to work independently, be able to adapt to change, have strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude. They should possess the ability to provide administration, access control and
technical application support for all Core and Core related banking applications.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide retail branch and department end user support for:
o Core processing system and complimentary products including but not limited to:
Silverlake, Xperience, Teller, On Board Deposits, Synergy, 4Sight and Synapsis
o Serve as bank admin for all ancillary products, responsible for new user setups, deletions, changes and password resets.
• Level one Track-It helpdesk support including answering helpdesk phone, JHA support issues, password resets, printing and general questions and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for employee access and changes via JHA global security, includes new employees, deletions and changes. Administrate wire security and officer/sales codes on core system.
• Complete daily and month end task sheet tasks.
• Responsible for bank rate changes and system parameter changes on the core system.
• Engage third party vendors to facilitate answers to questions or error resolution for end user.
• Research additional software features or functions of existing systems to assist retail branch and internal departments with process improvements. Keep apprised of changes, innovations and trends for Core and ancillary banking products.
• Focus on workflow analysis and continuous process improvement for Application Support group.
• Review and update policies and internal procedures for Application Support group. Assist retail branch and internal departments with Core related training and provide guidance to ensure that their procedures are accurate as it relates to core systems.
• Audit and examination assistance for the bank and internal departments.
• Maintain JHA Vendor Management and JHA Client Portal access.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year of experience in application support or similar functions.
• In depth knowledge of banking systems and competence in using Microsoft Office product suite and other business computer systems.
• Provide courteous, prompt, professional and exceptional service, in all forms of communication.
