BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Residential Advocate Supervisor to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Northside Behavioral Health!

Residential Advocate Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Supervises residential team and daily operations of group homes or supervised apartment sites, including training/clinical services to adult residents in 24/7 community-based setting.
  • Ensures monitoring of self-administered medications, compliance with licensing/regulatory standards, proper protocol for food handling, menu planning, food/supply purchasing, housekeeping/safe environment, and submission/documentation of services.
  • Schedules proper staffing/coverage and posts schedule and covers shifts when unable to obtain coverage.
  • Conducts regular supervision of team &routine staff meetings, overseeing team responses to residents.
  • Prepares for site visits/inspections/audits and addresses deficiencies as needed.
  • Is flexible/available to staff at all hours due to the staffing patterns.
  • Responds to emergencies, guides team in responding to emergencies per policy and informs leadership of incidents.
  • Ensures timely incident reporting.
  • Reviews documentation for accuracy and provides feedback to staff as needed.
  • Hires and oversees training
  • Communicates with treatment team about changes in residents' condition.
  • Point of contact for referrals; conducts screenings, admissions; attends referral meetings; provides required reporting to state funder; and provides referral disposition with referral sources.
  • Maintains waitlist.
  • Ensures occupancy to maximize revenue.
  • Facilitates structured clinical model of care for licensed sites.
  • Implements regular clinical services to residents according to licensing requirements.

Requirements:

  • Basic cooking skills.
  • Required Experience: 2 years behavioral health or related field with some coordinator/lead type experience.
  • FL Driver's License (Coverage requires drivers to be 21 years old with 3 years driving experience (drivers over 69 may require a Driver's Road test.)
  • BLS (within 60 days)
  • First Aid (within 60 days)
  • Required - Bachelors - Behavioral Health; Or Bachelors - Related Field; Preferred - Masters Behavioral Health; Or - Masters - Related Field
