Job description

We are looking to hire an Electrician to join our Lux Row team in Bardstown, KY. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, provides electrical knowledge and skills in repairing instrumentation, motor controls, pumps, and general electrical problems for the distillery and warehouses. Ensuring that all plant assets, including equipment, buildings, structures, and systems are maintained efficiently and within budgeted targets. The Maintenance Electrician provides assistance throughout the distillery with maintenance needs.

What will you do?

Maintenance Electrician

  • Overseeing all maintenance electrical issues and ensuring all repairs are done per NEC.
  • Coordinating repairs with supervisors to ensure repairs are done in a timely manner.
  • Assist with training other technicians with electrical problem solving.

General Facility Maintenance/PM’s

  • Assist with mechanical repairs throughout distillery.
  • Ensure all PMs are being performed per the schedule.
  • Check in with all department heads periodically to address any maintenance issues.
  • Responding to any issues in a timely manner and making the appropriate repairs.
  • Coordinate any downtime work with Distillery and Warehouse supervisors.
  • Understanding and maintaining proper operations of boiler, Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, water softener, chiller and cooling tower.
  • Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).

Inventory Management

  • Produce and maintain list of all electrical inventory items.
  • Perform periodic audits to confirm inventory is accurate.
  • Manage removal of items from inventory are appropriate and replaced as necessary.

Communication

  • Assist with training technicians in the electrical field.
  • Communicate electrical problems and solutions with supervisor.
  • Relays necessary information on projects and specialized instructions.

What do you need to bring to the table?

  • Must have a masters or journeyman electrical license with 6 years of experience.
