Position Summary:
d amp;b audiotechnik Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven senior sales professional to join the U.S. Sales Team as Regional Manager for the Northeast Region (CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI, VT), with a strong focus on the New York City metropolitan area. This role plays a key part in driving growth within one of d amp;b’s most important U.S. markets.
This is a critical role requiring a candidate with a proven track record of driving sustained sales growth in the professional audio industry. The successful candidate will bring a proactive, hands-on approach to market development and demonstrate the ability to build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships across the region. Working in close collaboration with the regional Education and Application Support Specialist, the Regional Manager will be responsible for expanding revenue, developing key accounts, and strengthening d amp;b’s market presence throughout the Northeast Region.
Essential functions and work duties:
  • Promote the d amp;b brand, technology, and company passion in the assigned region, with a strong focus on the NYC metropolitan area.
  • Achieve or exceed annual revenue targets, delivering consistent year-over-year growth.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Represent d amp;b at trade shows and industry events.
  • Partner with and educate the distribution network to develop and convert key sales opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry through delivery, commissioning, and ongoing customer engagement.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of all sales activities in the company’s CRM.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional Education and Application Support Specialist to ensure customer technical requirements are understood and successfully met.
  • Coordinate effectively between the company, distribution network, and clients to maintain alignment and project momentum.
  • Partner with Customer Service to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Participate in d amp;b training, workshops, and webinars to strengthen product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Engage in regular Sales Team meetings to align strategy and execution.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the pro-audio market.
  • Utilize standard sales processes and systems, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of professional audio equipment, with the ability to clearly understand, explain, and demonstrate product features and applications.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proven experience managing a sales region and delivering consistent growth.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build trust and credibility.
  • Solid understanding of the professional audio market; hands-on product demonstration experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (or Mac equivalent).
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region (up to 50%), with occasional domestic travel out-of-region and limited international travel.
Education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Business, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant sales experience within the professional audio industry.
  • Experience managing pro-audio sales within the Northeast U.S. preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, exempt position. Strong preference will be given to candidates located within the NYC metropolitan area. The role requires up to 50% travel, including occasional domestic and limited international travel. Evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
