Job description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.

We are currently seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Northeast Correctional Complex located in Mountain City, Tennessee.

The Nursing Assistant works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Active TN State Certification for Nursing Assistance.
  • Current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification required.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain security clearance required.
  • Training, experience, or certification as a nurse's aide, medical technician, or mental health worker preferred.
  • One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred.
