With offices in Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, and Lumpkin and beyond, we’re growing and seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Physicians to join our growing team across several office locations. This is an excellent opportunity to practice medicine in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with strong administrative support.

GMH is a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), mission driven organization, committed to providing compassionate and quality health care to families in North Georgia. At GMH we address population health and social drivers of health. We seek to enhance the health of the community with a team-based care operation that enables physicians to work at the top of their license doing what they love. We believe in more than just treating patients but seek to practice with a sustainable approach to preventative, chronic and urgent care. We are seeking a mission-oriented candidate who shares this mission and understands the nuances of an FQHC.

Blue Ridge and Chatsworth are accessible to Atlanta and Chattanooga in less than 1.5 hours.

Position:

  • Part of the primary care team, working closely with other physicians, behavioral health, clinical and support staff in a team-based approach.
  • Patient volumes of approx. 20 patients per day.
  • 2 clinical support staff to assist with workflow.
  • Enjoy life-work balance with a 4-day work week, 9 hours per day direct patient care and 4 hours charting time in office or remote. No nights, no weekends and major holidays off.
  • GMH medical facilities qualify for National Health Service Corps/HRSA loan repayment programs
  • Salary + bonus incentive
  • Supervise APRNs
  • On-Call rotation shared among group (1 week duration approximately every 5-6 weeks)

Required Qualifications:

  • Georgia Medical License-active status
  • Degree from an accredited Medical School
  • BLS/CPR -active status
  • Bilingual- Spanish/English preferred
  • Satisfactory background check and drug test required
