Job description

Term: Permanent (core)

Reports to: Senior Manager of Organizing

Salary: $55,000โ€“65,000 + benefits

Purpose

Owns FRRC's base and presence in North Florida year-round. Builds the membership and volunteer leadership that the cycle runs on, and keeps it alive between cycles.

Scope

Build, grow, and retain the FRRC member base across the North Florida region

Develop chapter volunteer leadership and chapter health in-region, executing the strategy that the Sr. Manager sets

Recruit, train, and retain volunteers across the cycle and between cycles

Run regional GOTV (Get Out The Vote) and civic engagement field execution during the cycle

Represent FRRC in regional coalitions, partner relationships, and local events

Steward the regional leader bench: track and develop emerging volunteer leaders

Qualifications

3+ years of community or political organizing

Demonstrated base-building and volunteer leadership development

Roots in or strong familiarity with North Florida communities

Experience with directly impacted communities is strongly valued

Comfortable being accountable for recruitment, retention, and engagement numbers
