Description
With more than a decade of service, Nordic Ice serves the meal kit and pharmaceutical industries with the highest quality cold-chain solutions and products. Built as a family business, Nordic Ice partners with each of its clients to create custom solutions that meet and exceed expectations for temperature-controlled packaging and manufacturing.
We are looking for dependable, resourceful Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility in Hatfield, PA. Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operation of machinery by completing maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.
  • Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, schematics, service manuals, etc.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and take corrective action to prevent equipment down time.
  • Maintain parts and supplies inventory and reorder as necessary.
  • Follow all required safety practices including lockout-tagout and wearing required PPE.
  • Floater between lines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• High school diploma or general education (GED)
• Previous mechanical and electrical machine repair experience necessary
• Knowledge of PLC system and interpreting electrical schematics preferred
• Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints and procedures
• Basic computer skills
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions
• At least 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing, packaging, industrial or warehouse environment
• Sound judgment, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
We offer a competitive hourly wage plus a comprehensive benefit package. Some of the benefits include but are not limited to Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and paid-time off.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 11:00am-9:30pm
Rate: $30-$32 hourly depending on experience
