Job description

Always Best Care is looking to add a part-time speech therapist to our Home Health energetic team. A person who will provide quality patient care and contribute to the overall well-being of individuals in need of speech therapy services. We offer and will negotiate competitive pay.  We believe in healthy work/life balance for all our employees!  You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans. As a Speech Language Pathologist you train patients and caregivers on the skills they need to promote independence and productivity. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide appropriate speech therapy evaluation, assessment, and treatment to our clients.  This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Manager. 
  • Guide patients in performing exercises and activities.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques. 
  • Write professional evaluations and re-assessments that include a thorough plan of care with individualized goals and objectives for each patient.

  • Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state/Agency requirements. Good driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Current CPR certification.
