We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Memory Care Director to join our leadership team.
Position Summary
The Memory Care Director plays a key leadership role in overseeing the daily delivery of resident care services within the community. This position is responsible for supervising care staff, supporting clinical operations, ensuring quality resident care, and promoting a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and team members.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, compassionate, and able to lead with both accountability and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support Resident Care Assistants and Medication Techs/QMAPs
  • Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management of care staff
  • Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with individualized care plans
  • Support medication management and resident treatment directives under Clinical Services leadership
  • Monitor resident wellbeing and communicate changes in condition appropriately
  • Maintain resident care communication systems and documentation within the electronic health system
  • Assist with onboarding and skills competency evaluations for new care staff
  • Help maintain clean, safe, and organized care environments throughout the community
  • Coordinate resident appointments and transportation needs as necessary
  • Participate in staffing support, including after-hours call-offs and shift coverage as needed
  • Respond calmly and effectively during emergency situations
  • Foster positive communication with residents, families, physicians, and team members
  • Support compliance with community policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; vocational or technical training preferred
  • Medication Tech or QMAP certification required
  • At least one year of supervisory experience, preferably in senior living or a geriatric setting
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with individuals living with memory loss preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
