What does 'Non Union Oregon' mean in the context of jobs?

'Non Union Oregon' refers to job positions or workplaces in Oregon that are not affiliated with a labor union. This means employees in these roles are not covered by collective bargaining agreements that unions typically negotiate, such as wages, benefits, and working conditions. Non-union jobs may offer more flexibility for employers but generally provide less job security and fewer standardized benefits for employees compared to unionized positions. Workers in non-union roles are responsible for negotiating their own employment terms directly with their employer. Choosing between union and non-union jobs depends on individual preferences for job structure, benefits, and workplace protections.
