What's the Short Version?

The Sr Technical Project Manager coordinates and monitors technical projects or programs from initiation through delivery. They gather required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications. The Sr Technical Project Manager serves as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. They ensure technical projects are completed on schedule and within budget, and keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results. They conduct complex work important to the organization.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Ensure the timely completion of complex technical projects; conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Establish system or technical project plan by determining project objectives, technology, systems, and information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Research, plan, communicate, and achieve objectives through delivery team; oversee the team as they plan, track and execute project plans from start to completion.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Establish project feasibility by examining project alignment with organization strategies and plans; completing cost-benefit and information, technology, and systems integration analyses.
  • Establish and achieve financial objectives by preparing a project budget; scheduling and approving expenditures; analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
  • Confirm project outcomes by establishing standards and testing requirements; writing scripts and test cases.
  • Support operations by resolving technology, systems, and information issues; providing user training.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of experience as an IT Project Manager or related experience
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated; comfortable working with ambiguity.

  • Solid analytical and reasoning skills and proven ability to develop solutions to complex problems

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $120,000 - $170,000 annually, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Periodic travel may be required. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
