Job description

Weekends Needed!

Responsibilities:

  • Clean common areas per daily schedule, sanitizing high touch areas.

  • Housekeeper must keep chemicals secured and labeled appropriately.

  • Make resident beds with fresh linens per weekly schedule.

  • Clean assigned apartments per weekly cleaning schedule, following our cleaning guidelines.

  • Housekeeper must clean office areas per weekly cleaning schedule.

  • Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner.

  • Keep environment safe and clean for residents.

  • Wash laundry as directed, keep towels clean for use on cart.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Additional Functions:

  • Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Must be detail and team-work oriented.

  • Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills and community requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.

  • Must be eighteen (18) years old.

  • Housekeeper must maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing in standard English.

  • The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living.

Physical Demands and Requirements:

  • Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.

  • Housekeeper must be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift.

  • Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.

  • Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
