POSITION:

Non-Profit Operations Manager (NPOM)


Department: Operations

Reports To: Executive Director

Schedule: Full-Time


MISSION:

In coordination with the Executive Director and leadership team, plays a key role in

advancing the organization's mission of economic success through workforce

development by driving operational excellence, strengthening infrastructure, and ensuring

effective service delivery. Supports strategic planning and execution to expand LET'S GO's

impact across the communities it serves.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Responsible for overseeing all operational functions of the organization, ensuring

alignment between strategy and execution across programming, development, finance,

and administrative functions. The NPOM is integral in establishing and maintaining a

positive and productive culture, effective systems, policies, and processes to support

organizational growth, efficiency, and sustainability.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Strategy & Operations:

- Partner with the Executive Director to implement the organization's strategic plan

- Develop and implement operational strategies that support organizational growth and sustainability

- Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure efficiency, alignment, and accountability for timely execution of essential tasks.

- Actively promote and integrate culture and brand identity in every aspect of the compan's operations, events and projects

- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational effectiveness

- Identify operational risks, inform the Executive Director, and implement mitigation strategies

- Assist the Executive Director with company-wide planning processes (quarterly and annual)


Training & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and support the senior leadership team

- Support talent development, succession planning, and organizational design


Finance & Admin:

- Ensure alignment between programming, development, finance, and operational priorities

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance

- Ensure efficient allocation of resources aligned with organizational priorities

- Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization

- Support audit readiness and risk management initiatives

- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements

- Support the Executive Director in preparing operational reports and updates for the Board of Directors

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

* Must have Non-Profit and grant writing experience

* Must have financial reporting and grant allocation experience

- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage cross-functional teams

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- 3-5+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior operational roles

- Experience in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organizations preferred

- Demonstrated success in scaling operations and implementing organizational systems

- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and performance metrics

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
