Job description

HealthPartners is expanding our Finance Department and is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Health Plan. This role has  responsibility for HealthPartners financial analysis, reporting systems, accounting, and budgeting efforts. Develops, maintains and analyzes financial models. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

1. Productively work with all levels of management; support and assist leaders, other team members, and other areas of HealthPartners.

2. Enhance processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely financial and managerial reporting and financial analysis.

3. Maintain, develop, and support financial and managerial reporting.

4. Assists leaders with operating and financial analysis efforts.

5. Supports financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

  1. Participates in special projects or studies as directed.
  2. Assist with the monthly close process. 
  3. Support purchasing contracts.
  4. Support RFP responses 

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • BA/BS in finance, accounting, or business related field
  • 1 year experience in finance, accounting, and/or business related field
  • Strong spreadsheet and computer skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff


 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in the health care industry
  • Experience with budgeting/forecasting
