What is a non profit call center?

A non profit call center is a support center operated by a nonprofit organization to handle phone calls related to their mission, services, or fundraising efforts. These call centers typically assist with outreach, donor relations, volunteer coordination, and providing information about the organization’s programs. Unlike commercial call centers, their primary goal is to support the nonprofit’s objectives rather than generate profit. Staff may be paid employees or volunteers, and the environment often emphasizes compassion, service, and community impact.
