What You'll Be Doing:
โข Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines
โข Plan nursing interventions for each resident based on individual needs and monitor the implementation
โข Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions, identify problems and trends and develop alternative interventions.
โข Conduct family and resident education
โข Administer medications and treatments timely and according to center policy
โข Transcribe physician's orders and chart progress notes in an informative, factual manner that reflects the care administered as well as the resident's response
โข Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family
โข Accurately identify skin changes and follow skin management protocols
โข Order and report diagnostic tests timely
โข Follow Pharmacy policy and procedures for ordering and delivering medications.
โข Coordinate resident's rehabilitation program with therapists to ensure rehabilitation needs are met
โข Monitors that CNA documentation is completed daily
โข Ensures CNA assignments are completed on time
โข Perform additional nursing care responsibilities as required and based on State Nurse Practice Act.
โข Requirements:
โข Active state RN license
โข CPR/BLS Certification
โข Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred
โข Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills
โข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
โข Ability to lift 25 or more pounds
โข Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended time periods
โข Team player, strong communicator, passionate about senior care
Salary/ Wage Range
Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
