Era Living is seeking a part-time Nurse (LPN/RN) to become the newest member of our Community Health team located in our Aljoya Mercer Island community, Mercer Island, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Sunday & Monday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Flexibility in shift hours may be discussed.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Community Health Nurse will contribute to the assessment of residents, implement health care services and collaborate with the Community Health Director to provide health promotion and monitoring of residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to provide resident and family education

  • Ability to schedule tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines and within allotted time

  • Ability to maintain resident confidentiality to assure all rights are protected

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English; Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Computer proficiency

  • Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of School of Nursing either as an LPN or RN

  • Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving

  • Two yearsโ€™ experience working with older adults

  • Able to provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults

  • Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training

  • Must have current CPR certificate

  • Food Handlerโ€™s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
