FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Production Manager

Shift- 4pm-12:30am

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves coordinating with team members, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the manufacturing team.
  • Prepare the production floor for daily operations, ensuring all equipment and materials are ready.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet production targets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Train and mentor team members on manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory and work orders.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
