Job Summary:

They are seeking a Senior Client Non-Stop Developer to design, develop, and enhance mission-critical applications on HPE Non-Stop systems, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance for train dispatching infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain fault-tolerant applications on HPE NonStop systems using TAL, C, or C++
โ€ข Build and support mission-critical software for real-time train control, dispatching, and crew scheduling.
โ€ข Develop and optimize database solutions using NonStop SQL/MX and SQL/MP.
โ€ข Integrate applications with Enscribe file systems and Pathway server
โ€ข Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across departments
โ€ข Support modernization efforts through hybrid integration models (e.g., REST APIs, NSHTTP, iTP WebServer)
โ€ข Deliver 24x7 system availability
โ€ข Provide source code and compiled executables for HPE NonStop applications
โ€ข Create TACL automation scripts for operational tasks
โ€ข Develop technical design and architecture documentation
โ€ข Prepare deployment guides and configuration manuals
โ€ข Write release notes, version histories, and rollback procedures
โ€ข Create unit, integration, and performance test cases
โ€ข Generate issue resolution reports and root cause analyses

Qualifications:
Required:

โ€ข Minimum 7 years of hands-on development experience on HPE NonStop (Tandem) platforms
โ€ข Expertise in application development on HPE NonStop systems using TAL, C, or C++ to build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant solutions in 24/7 environments
โ€ข Experience in developing mission-critical applications for regulated or service-oriented industries with real-time requirements
โ€ข Expertise in NonStop SQL/MX and SQL/MP databases, including schema design, query optimization, and ANSI-compliant SQL development
โ€ข Familiarity with Enscribe file structures and integration with Pathway server-based applications
โ€ข Proficiency in system performance analysis, with the ability to identify bottlenecks and improve transaction throughput and responsiveness
โ€ข Expertise in incident response and troubleshooting, ensuring rapid resolution of production issues to maintain uptime and continuity
