Job Title: Registered Nurse – PACU
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Type: Travel/Local Contract
Shift: Day Shift | 09:00 AM – 09:00 PM
Schedule: 3x12 Hours
Hours: 36 hrs/week
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
The PACU RN provides high-acuity post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery
• Manage airway, ventilation, and hemodynamic stability
• Administer medications and manage pain control
• Identify and respond to post-anesthesia complications
• Collaborate with surgical and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide patient and family education
• Document care in compliance with hospital standards
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure care

Qualifications:
Active California RN License – Required
• Minimum 2 years inpatient PACU experience – Required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS – Required
• Strong critical care and post-anesthesia recovery skills
• Ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Experience with ventilated patients and arterial lines preferred
• Travel experience preferred (first-time travelers not accepted)
