Full Time Days
Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining optimum care of geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric, patient population in the Imaging Department. The Registered Nurse serves as clinical resource person for the Imaging Department. Assists in scheduling interventional procedures. Serves as liaison between nursing staff in Patient Care Areas, and the Imaging Department. Assists with quality improvement monitoring, problem identification, remedial action activities and reporting. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate competencies related to the use of moderate sedation. The Registered Nurse demonstrates competencies with Phase I and Phase II of recovery. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
Minimum Required: Graduate from an RN program, Florida RN License, American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, & BLS certification.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, 2 years of Critical Care and/or Emergency Department care experience.
Other Qualifications: Management of potential complications and medical emergencies
