Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate Veterinarian to diagnose and treat our clients’ animals. Surgical capability is preferred, Dr. Hamilton can work with you to be one of the best surgeons in the area! We have clients that say "yes" to what the doctor wants to do 90% of the time. This makes your job EASIER!!!!! 36 to 40 hour week, you can make over $200,000.00 easily. The support staff is fantastic. You tell me what hours you want to work, and I can work around your schedule!! The monetary and bonus package will be discussed at the interview, we have a strong support staff that makes working with us fun! Work the job you love and have time with the family you love more!!!! That is what life should be about. When you are happy, everyone around you is happy!!!

The benefit package is negotiable. We are very flexible and easy to get along with. Ownership opportunities are a possibility and will be included in our one on one discussion if you are interested. We believe in privately owned practices as opposed to the Corporately owned practices that are not nearly as personal to their clientele. Responsibilities

Provide routine examinations

Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment

Administer vaccinations

Prescribe medication

Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being

Update client records

Preferred: Ability to perform surgeries including dental, spay and neuter

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree

Previous work experience as a veterinarian

Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms

Problem-solving skills

Availability to take evening, or weekend shifts when necessary

Patience and a love for animals

Equipment

Digital radiography, including dental radiographs.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and Stem Cells

Digitherm

Lameness scale to weigh each limb separately

Ultrasound

Cutting laser and Cold Laser (2 in practice)

Rigid endoscopy

Full in-house laboratory
