Noahs Ark Veterinary & Boarding Resort is a privately owned small animal veterinary practice located between Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland. We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist who genuinely enjoys helping people, loves animals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a collaborative and supportive team.
At Noahs Ark, our reception team does far more than answer phones they help guide the client experience, advocate for pets, support the flow of the hospital, and often become the reassuring voice clients remember most. What Youll Do:
  • Help create a welcoming, compassionate, and organized experience for clients and patients
  • Coordinate scheduling and appointment flow in a busy multi-service veterinary practice
  • Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person regarding appointments, medications, records, and general questions
  • Support the veterinary team through accurate record keeping, organization, and proactive communication
  • Prepare for appointments by reviewing and updating client records and ensuring needed forms are ready in advance
  • Educate clients on preventative healthcare recommendations, products, and services that support their pets health and wellbeing
  • Assist clients with questions regarding medications, prescription diets, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, wellness recommendations, and other veterinary services
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and team-oriented front desk environment
  • Perform general administrative and clerical tasks including mail handling, document preparation, organization, and hospital communication support
