What is a no experience web designer?

A no experience web designer is someone who is starting out in web design without prior professional experience in the field. These individuals often have basic knowledge of web design principles, HTML, CSS, and possibly some design tools, but have not yet worked on paid projects or for an employer. Many begin by creating personal projects, contributing to open-source, or taking online courses to build their portfolio. As a web designer just starting out, building a compelling portfolio is essential to showcase your skills and creativity to potential employers. You can include personal projects, redesigns of existing websites, or volunteer work for local businesses and non-profits. Documenting your design process, from initial sketches to final product, helps demonstrate your problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Many junior web designers also collaborate with developers or participate in design challenges and hackathons to add diverse projects to their portfolios. Remember, employers value practical examples and your ability to communicate design decisions, even if your experience isn't from paid roles.
