'No Experience Typing' jobs are entry-level positions that primarily require basic typing skills but do not demand prior professional experience. These jobs may include data entry, transcription, online form filling, or simple administrative tasks. Employers usually look for candidates who can type accurately and efficiently, but provide on-the-job training for other necessary skills. Such roles are ideal for beginners or those looking to start a remote or flexible career path. What does a no experience typing job involve?

In a no experience typing role, individuals typically handle data entry, transcribing information from physical or digital documents, and updating databases with accurate records. These tasks are essential for maintaining organized and accessible information, supporting other team members such as managers, analysts, or administrative staff who rely on up-to-date data for decision-making and reporting. While the work can be repetitive, it offers a great opportunity to develop attention to detail and familiarity with office software, which can lead to more advanced administrative or clerical positions over time.

Job description

Inventory Clerk
SonoVision – Beaverton, OR
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $20/hour
Benefits:
  • Free medical coverage within 30 days of hire
  • Paid vacation after 90 days
  • 4% company contribution to Traditional 401(k) after 30 days
About Us
SonoVision is a family-owned business that repairs and refurbishes ultrasound equipment. We're a hands-on, fast-moving team that values precision and craftsmanship. No two days look exactly the same here, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who can bring order to a busy, ever-changing warehouse environment without losing their cool. This isn't a sit-and-sort role — parts move, priorities shift, and people will occasionally create beautiful chaos. Your job is to stay on top of it all, keep inventory accurate, and adapt without missing a beat.
If you're the kind of person who gets satisfaction from bringing organization to a dynamic environment and can pivot easily when things change, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
  • Track and maintain accurate inventory records in real time
  • Perform cycle counts and run down discrepancies until they're resolved
  • Organize and reorganize warehouse and storage areas as needs shift
  • Classify and sort parts across multiple categories — core, repair, and tested-good
  • Collaborate daily with logistics, repair, and assembly teams
  • Jump between areas and tasks as priorities arise
  • Spot opportunities to improve processes and speak up about them
What We're Looking For
  • Someone who stays organized even when things around them aren't
  • Comfortable with a fast pace and a constantly shifting to-do list
  • Detail-oriented without being rigid — you can hold the standard while rolling with the punches
  • A good communicator who works well across teams
  • Basic computer skills (Google Suite, typing, email)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable moving around a warehouse environment
  • 1+ years of inventory, warehouse, or operations experience preferred — but the right attitude matters more
  • High school diploma or equivalent; must pass a background check
What Success Looks Like
  • Inventory records that are accurate even on the chaotic days
  • A warehouse that stays organized despite constant activity
  • A team that trusts you to keep things on track
  • A good attitude that makes the people around you better
