SIGN ON BONUS for RN with 1 year outpatient practice or pediatric specialty experience.
Pediatric Specialty Float Nurse -Outpatient Pediatric Specialty Center
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our PEDIATRIC team!
Responsibilities
  • Provides independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing and quality assurance checks.
  • Establishes plan of care, sets priorities and implements the plan of care with patient/family.
  • Triages and coordinates patient care
  • Promotes health and wellness for individuals and groups of patients.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to acute and chronic disease management.
  • Demonstrates respect and advocates for the patient's rights, values and belief systems.
  • Develops patient trust and engages the patient/ family in care and treatment.

Required Work Experience:
  • Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience
  • Experience in pediatrics is essential for this float position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks/priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have competency in delivering exceptional nursing care and have proven success in partnering with both physicians and staff

Other Information
  • Location - Pediatric Specialty Center 50 Wason Ave
  • 40 hours M-F 8:30AM -5PM
  • The Pediatric Float RN will train and cover in m any of the among outpatient pediatric specialties to include: Pedi GI, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Neurology, Adolescent Medicine
Sign On Bonus - Sign on Bonuses are paid to external hires only; not applicable for internal or company transfers, unless otherwise specified. Former employees are eligible after 1 year post separation from Baystate Health

No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
