Job description


We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to perform general property maintenance and repairs throughout the community. The ideal candidate will have hands-on handyman experience, with basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, and be comfortable handling a variety of maintenance tasks.
The Maintenance Technician must be reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as as part of a team. This position will also assist with larger maintenance projects and community improvements as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance and handyman repairs throughout the community.
  • Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting, as permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs, including minor leaks, faucets, toilets, and fixtures.
  • Conduct routine inspections of common areas, buildings, amenities, and other community facilities.
  • Repair, replace, and maintain doors, locks, hardware, fixtures, and other property components.
  • Perform basic carpentry, drywall repair, painting, patching, and other general repairs.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and identify maintenance issues before they become major problems.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
  • Assist with larger projects and community-wide maintenance projects as directed by management.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Communicate maintenance concerns, needed repairs, and potential safety hazards to management.
  • Assist other maintenance staff and community personnel when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Full-Time M-F 7am-4pm
