Job Title: Cut & Wrap Operator – 3rd Shift

Job Location:

Catalent, 7370 Merritt Park Drive, Manassas, VA 20109

Shift: 3rd Shift – 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (Monday to Friday; must be flexible to work any day of the week)

City/State: Manassas, Virginia

Job Summary:

The Cut & Wrap Operator supports daily production operations following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and performs hands-on duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in all stages of production and packaging processes.

Accurately document batch records in real time.

Perform daily calibrations on equipment like scales.

Load products, wrappers, and bags into machinery.

Monitor product quality and report any defects or abnormalities.

Transfer materials using carts, totes, drums, or pallets.

Clean and sanitize work areas during product changeovers per batch records.

Prepare ingredients, product packaging, and load finished boxes onto pallets.

Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Complete daily logbooks and routine documentation tasks.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

1–3 months of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and training.

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with fractions/decimals).

Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, diagrams, and production schedules.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 40 lbs (occasionally up to 1000 lbs with equipment).

Standing, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and other physical movements required.

Work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, high noise levels, heat, and occasional exposure to chemicals.
