The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced Machine/Equipment Operator to be part of an exciting and important mission. The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years of proven experience operating complex machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves performing machine setups, advanced troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal production flow. This position will provide an opportunity to obtain additional experience in a unique environment.
This role is for an Intel Customer and must have a TS/SCI POLY to be considered and is located on site with the customer.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating process-specific, printing press machines and equipment; for making and maintaining improvements to the printing presses, the processes, systems and products resulting from the use of the presses to include preventative maintenance; and for conducting quality control on the presses and resulting products according to established procedures and standards. Previous experience operating printing press machines is not required. You must possess a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience safely and efficiently operating complex machinery: For the right candidate, the Customer will provide on-the-job training for printing press operations to include digital, screen printing, gravure, flexographic, small offset and large sheeted presses; and methods such as letterpress, lithography, digital and ink-jet printing techniques
  • Must possess an active Top Secret SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Ability to research and analyze solutions to overcome operational challenges to reduce operational threats and mitigate risk factors
  • Experience in managing projects/processes within budget and on-time either independently with minimal supervision or within a team environment
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills to address difficult and complex issues, especially those associated with mechanical equipment such as printing presses
  • Excellent hand dexterity and mechanical aptitude
  • Detail-oriented; ability to identify and estimate differences / similarities between products, and troubleshoot problems
  • Ability to work from drawings, production schedules, work routings and other verbal and written instructions
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn; personal integrity with an action- and results-oriented bias
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS - While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to discern between colors
