Required Related Experience
Library work experience preferred. Library Information Sciences or Law majors preferred, but other majors and undergraduates welcome to apply.

Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and sit or stand for a period of 2 hours or more.
Shift
Maximum is 20 hours per week. Most shifts are 2 - 6 hours each and occur between
7:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
Job Summary
Student Desk Attendants answer library-related questions in-person and over the
phone, check desk materials in and out to patrons assist with hold shelf items, and
direct patrons to our Reference librarians. They also open and close the library,
depending on their availability and selected weekly shifts.
