Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Team Member Experience (HR) Business Partner in Columbus, Indiana. The Team Member Experience (TME) Business Partner is responsible for cultivating and positively impacting the TME through TME support and partner relations with the Centra family, Recruitment & Selection, Performance Management, and TME Department initiatives and representations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.
  • Provides Business Partnering with Team Members and Supervisors in the forms of coaching and consulting on a wide range of Team Member topics such as leave of absence, support and investigation on Team Member needs and concerns, performance development, counseling and disciplinary action, staffing, participation in departmental meetings, explanation of TME policies, programs, and procedures, and provide resource information such as benefits or training.
  • Responsible for recruitment and selection process within departments ensuring practices are aligned with Centra's culture, business needs, and goals
  • Coach and educate Team Members on various topics related to Team Member Experience.
  • Ensure the timeliness, quality, compliance and consistency of performance management and alignment with Centra's policies and values.
  • Supports TME-related projects, events, and endeavors as directed
  • Ensure compliance with all related employment laws and Centra policies and culture.
  • Achieve or exceed the expected service standards while ensuring the integrity and clarity of the communication. i.e. ensuring professionalism and compassion while not avoiding difficult conversations
  • Reports to Director TME Business Partnerships and works collaboratively with other TME Business Partners.
  • TME-related administrative duties for areas of responsibility (reports, system entries, etc.)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field and a minimum of three years as a human resource professional or related field. Experience in business partnering, recruitment, performance development, and employment-related compliance; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people, listening and understanding problems and assisting Team Members
  • Robust coaching/consultative and collaboration skills
  • HR Generalist level knowledge of Employment Law
  • Competency in various aspects of motivation and emotional intelligence
  • Administrative and organization skills including time management
  • Deductive reasoning & investigatory skills
  • Technology skills adept with HRIS and Microsoft
