Job Description:

As a Food Runner, you will play a key role in delivering dishes from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with proper presentation. You will work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure each dish meets our standards and is served at the right time, contributing to a seamless and elevated dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
  • Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and match tickets before leaving the kitchen
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timing and table needs
  • Describe dishes to guests when delivering food, including key ingredients or preparation when appropriate
  • Assist servers by running food, clearing plates, and resetting tables as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and service areas
  • Monitor table progress and assist in maintaining proper pacing of service
  • Handle guest requests or communicate them to the appropriate team member
  • Support opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of service stations
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
