Food Runner

Food Runner positions are available at all 3 locations: Ashburn, Chantilly, and Lansdowne.

Ford’s Fish Shack is seeking Food Runners who have a passion for outstanding food and drink and providing the best in service. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the hospitality industry and focused on creating outstanding guest experiences through our food and service. Hard working and cheerful people are key to our continued success and growth.

Food Runner Responsibilities:

  • The main responsibility for this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner.
  • Knowledge of all menu items and garnishes.
  • Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff.
  • Handle to-go orders, ensure all items, sauces, and utensils are in the bag.
  • Complete all opening and closing duties including but not limited to; clean, organize service/side work area and restock the expo supplies before and at the end of the shift.
  • Sweep and mop expo area.
  • Maintain all food and beverages and ensure compliance with all safety practices and regulations.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
