Electric Motor Mechanic

Do you have mechanical experience, but want to get your hands-on something different that will expand your knowledge and growth opportunities? Why not try electric motor repair? Krauth Electric Company is a family-owned electric motor repair shop that's been around for over 100 years, and we're still going strong!  We're a small business, which means no corporate red tape---you'll know the people you work with, and your hard work won't go unnoticed.  Our new leadership team is putting in the effort to grow the company while keeping the values that got us here:  honesty, pride in our work, and treating people right.  If you're a mechanic, machinist, or hands-on problem solver looking for a solid team, we want to talk.  You may be a good fit for the job of disassembling, repairing, and reassembling electric motor equipment.  A position such as this at Krauth Electric Company will allow you to have your own work area with plenty of space to store your own tools.  You will be learning a new trade that is highly sought after and never goes away.   See a video on our website that describes the job.  Find the picture of an electric motor on the first web page with the words "click here" to see the video.  www.krauthelectric.com.   Also check out https://go.easa.com/MotorsDriveSuccess  

Pay for entry level will be commensurate with mechanical experience in the range of $25 per hour.   More experienced electric motor technicians could be  up to $35 per hour.  Signing and service bonus available at 60 days, 6 months and 1 year of service upon successful completion of reviews.  Qualified person must have at least basic mechanical skills, preferably industrial. They must be able to pass a physical and preemployment drug screen. He/she must be able to lift, push or pull up to 80 pounds.  Overtime available.
